ExperiGreen Chicago, IL Lawn Care Program

Good

Essential Lawn Care Program

6 services, plus a Lime soil pH amendment that are essential for a thick, greener, and healthier lawn.

  1. Early Spring
We apply professional fertilizer, which encourages recovery from Winter and a quick spring ‘green-up”.
  2. Late Spring
An application of fertilizer containing essential macro & micronutrients and a “double’ dose of our superior pre-emergent product, which means superior crabgrass and grassy weed prevention that our competitors just can’t match. Actively growing weeds are treated at this time as weather allows.
  3. Early Summer
A professional controlled-release fertilizer, specially formulated for summer growing conditions is applied. Actively growing weeds are treated again as needed.
  4. Summer
A liquid fertilizer solution containing essential macro & micronutrients is applied. A specially formulated “summer” weed control treatment is made to control those tough, summer weeds.
  5. Early Fall
A liquid fertilizer solution containing macro & micronutrients, amino acids, beneficial bacteria, and other natural products is applied. An early fall formula of weed control targeted at broadleaf weeds that are especially hard to control is included.
  6. Fall
A heavy rate of high Nitrogen professional fertilizer is applied to your lawn. This “Winterizer” application will help your lawn survive winter conditions, stay greener longer, and promotes faster “green up” next spring.
  7. Lime
A key pH soil amendment is recommended for northern lawns.

*Applications are made seasonally and results are based on the full, annual 6 step program. If the program is started later or less than the full program is purchased, results will vary. Please allow for a complete annual program of all treatments for best results.

Better

Preferred Lawn Care Program

Our Preferred Lawn Care Program includes all the benefits of the Essential Lawn Care Program + 3 additional Premier services that provide even greater protection and superior results, saving you money when you “bundle” and buy up front!

  1. Surface Feeding Insect Control*
Lawn damaging insects that feed on the grass blades above ground, can be hard to predict when they will appear. They also can be hard to identify and can be confused with other lawn problems. There are several types of surface-feeding insects that cause damage to desirable lawns. Some of the common pests include Sod Webworm, Armyworm, and Chinch bugs to name just a few. Protect your lawn from these pests with our Premier program.
  2. Guaranteed Grub Control*
Grubs become prevalent and damaging to lawns in the summer. They are the larval stage of various beetle types and feed silently on the roots of your grass plants. They can cause significant damage to a healthy lawn in a very short amount of time. We recommend this annual service applied during the summer months to prevent damage to your lawn before damage occurs.
  3. Liquid Aeration*
Our liquid aeration service will loosen the soil, help minimize thatch and oxygenate the root zone of your valuable lawn to encourage deeper rooting. Deeper growing roots, loosened soil and more oxygen means your lawn will be able to better utilize nutrients, water and air will penetrate deeper to allow your grass to thrive and reach its full potential.

*Service may be performed along with regular applications.

Best

Preferred+ Lawn Care Program

Our Preferred+ Lawn Care Program includes all the benefits of the Essential Lawn Care Program + 2 additional Premier services that provide even greater protection and superior results, saving you even more money when you “bundle” and buy up front!

  1. Soil Amendment Service*
Our ExperiGreen soil amendment (lime) service is meant to modify the pH of your soil so your grass plants can better take up and utilize the nutrients applied to the lawn. A lime treatment for your lawn benefits it in several ways: If your soil pH is too low or acidic, your grass won’t grow and thrive as well as it should, Lime will slightly lower the soil pH, which will allow your grass plants to better utilize fertilizer nutrients. This will further increase the overall health and appearance of your lawn.
  2. Lawn Overseeding*
Overseeding your lawn can help repair areas damaged due to drought, insects or diseases. Often times, lawns may be damaged by environmental conditions or insect or disease pests and overseeding can provide an effective and reasonable cost solution. Overseeding is also recommended as an annual maintenance service to help thicken your lawn and introduce newer, improved grass varieties into your lawn.
